Absolutely delicious food and drinks, despite a 4 Food Hygiene rating, but the place isn't very well looked after. There are cobwebs and broken chairs. Not entirely clean. Beautiful grounds, including dovecoat and lake though.

Absolutely beautiful setting lots of space family friendly...with play area Had afternoon tea so didn't get to try the pub food...which did look lovelyAs a follow on...I did have lunch there a couple of weeks ago and it was fab.Just what I expected . High 5 the chef
Once again the Worplesdon place continues to disappoint.I"m sure the Hotel and Eating experiences here are better than being offered to the casual drinker.There are usually one or more beers that are "not on" and the quality of the rest leaves much to be desired. The service at the bar, when you finally get it is pleasant enough.The 'Place" is very nicely furnished , looks inviting and has a great beer garden but if you just want a decent beer and quick service you'd be better off at The Fox.
